UNDYED is a brand made by California-born Sally Fox that uses colored organic cotton. They develop materials that retain the natural colors and soft feel of the natural raw materials. They are committed to using the original colors of the raw materials as they are, without any dyeing (bleaching → dyeing → softening). Not only do they retain the natural soft colors, but by not dyeing at all, they also retain the original softness of the fabric, making them comfortable to wear even on bare skin. Sally Fox, a biologist and entomologist, is a pioneer of organic cotton who revived the ancient brown cotton variety through organic cultivation in the 1980s. Even now, she raises sheep and grows organic vegetables and other crops in addition to cotton on her farm near Napa Valley in California.
