Indian Block printing is a traditional Indian technique in which handmade wooden stamps are pressed multiple times to create colored patterns by hand. Craftsmen create patterns by layering colors one color at a time on the block. The process of matching the seams of the patterns and the process of fine-tuning the color mix and pressing force depending on the humidity and temperature require skilled techniques.
