Produced in Peru by a workshop started by two women who each spent ten years working in the local knitwear market before beginning their own business. They maintain strong relationships with their clients and their local artisans to execute beautiful, quality garments. Their company respects their artisans, pays them in advance for their time, and partners with them on all aspects of their work. Since 2015, Shaina Mote has maintained a strong partnership with them, and are currently working together with the workshop and their GOTS-certified yarn mills to innovate solutions to avoid yarn waste.
Shaina Mote is proud to continue to work together with this small, women-run workshop and to honor the skills and traditions of knitwear production in Peru.
