Brother Vellies
Huarache Whiskey
The name 'huarache' comes from 'kwarachi' in the Purépecha language spoken in the highlands of Michoacán. These naturally veg-dyed Whiskey Huaraches darken over time.
Using ancestral techniques passed down through generations, Brother Vellies are handcrafted in South Africa, Kenya and Namibia, sustaining artisanal jobs in Africa and sharing traditional African dress with the global community.
They use eco-conscious chrome-free leather and animal bi-product hides. Vegetable-tanned leather changes in color with age and wear and is to be expected. Consistency in color and volume will vary from pair to pair. Because of this, no two pairs will ever be identical, and each pair has its own personality, making it yours and yours alone.
