A pintuck skirt with a unique look that can only be achieved with traditional Indian hand printing. Countless fine pintucks are applied below the waist, making the waist area look neat, while the design has a soft, voluminous feel from the tip of the pintucks to the hem. Elastic waist with adjustable tassel string. The tassel string has a mature feel, and the gold thread that ties the tassels together adds a subtle accent. Lined. Features slash pockets on both sides. Pair with the coordinating Ichi Antiquites India Quilt Print Reversible Vest and India Quilt Print Shirt in Khaki.
Indian Block printing is a traditional Indian technique in which handmade wooden stamps are pressed multiple times to create colored patterns by hand. Craftsmen create patterns by layering colors one color at a time on the block. The process of matching the seams of the patterns and the process of fine-tuning the color mix and pressing force depending on the humidity and temperature require skilled techniques. Since everything is done by hand, there will be subtle misalignments in the patterns, uneven colors, color skipping, and fading. Please enjoy this as another unique feature of this fabric.
Khaki is a mix of yellow and brown, a calm color that goes well with everything from monotone to beautiful accent colors and spring-like pale tones.
