Inspired by men's carpenter pants, the Work Jean is a high rise pant that features a slightly cropped, slightly tapered bootleg cut with ultra clean fit. High-rise, fitted silhouette. Front knee patches and utility loop and pocket. Made in Italian Denim that undergoes a completely vegetal style wash at the Italian mill for finishing. Crafted with double single needle construction for durability and strength for season after season wear.

Shaina Mote's Italian Denim comes from one of the most sustainable denim mills in the world. This mill has a zero waste process with their cotton, keeping all cotton in their supply chain with no waste. With a focus on circularity and traceability, this mill does not discard of any water, but keeps the water recycled in their process. All of their cottons are fully traceable back to the source. They do not use any harmful chemicals in their process.. Among the many globally recognized certifications they hold, they are GOTS, Better Cotton, Oeko Tex 100 and Global Recycling Standard certified. They also hold several certifications for safe labor and human rights including Wordly and SA 8000 certifications amongst others.
Woven garments are produced locally in Shaina Mote's hometown of Los Angeles, CA by longtime partners. Working locally allows the support of their community of highly skilled craftspeople, and have hands-on oversight through the entire design process, resulting in increased efficiency and waste reduction.
