Shaina Mote's denim styles are sewn in the USA with double single needle construction for durability. Denim is made of 100% Cotton and produced in Italy. They are proud to work with one of the most sustainable denim mills in the world. Based in a nature reserve in Northern Italy, this historic mill is dedicated to sustainable production, with an emphasis on water conservation, circularity, and transparency at all steps of the process. The mill focuses on high quality, innovative raw materials, including cottons that are sourced close to home, fully traceable and free from harmful chemicals. Among the many globally recognized certifications our partners hold are GOTS, Better Cotton, Oeko Tex 100 and Global Recycling Standard certified, along with several certifications for safe labor and human rights including Wordly and SA 8000 certifications amongst others.
